This encouraged her to create a YouTube channel, where she would later publish singing videos, vlogs and dance tutorials. At fifteen, she posted a five-minute parody monologue that had over a million views in just a few hours. She began to become visible at the age of twelve, uploading covers. On the other hand, Becerra said she suffered from attention deficit disorder, which made it more difficult for her to study. However, during her time at the industrial school, she reported having suffered physical violence, sexual harassment and countless situations of discrimination from her male classmates, because she was one of the few women in the institution.
